Maren Flasnes

Maren Flasnes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maren currently serves as the Group Director of Technology, Strategy, and Business Development at Heimstaden since May 2023. Prior to this, Maren worked as an Investment Director at Fredensborg AS from March 2020 to June 2023. Maren also gained experience as an Investment Manager at Spring Capital from April 2018 to September 2019. Maren had a significant tenure at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where they held positions as a Project Leader from September 2017 to March 2018, and as an Associate Consultant/Consultant from September 2013 to September 2017. Maren started their career with internships at Det Norske in August 2013, SINTEF in August 2012, and IBM in June 2012. Maren also worked as a Research Assistant at NTNU from October 2011 to May 2012 and as a Summer Analyst at Rystad Energy in June 2011. Maren briefly served as a Visiting Associate at The Boston Consulting Group from March 2011 to May 2011.

Maren Flasnes earned a Siv.ing. degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2008 and 2013. In 2010, they spent a year at The University of Edinburgh as a visiting student, studying at the Business School and School of Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalauréat Français in the field of Science at Lycée Edouard Herriot from 2004 to 2007. Maren also pursued International Studies at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2007 to 2008.
