Aldo Arriaga, PhD has worked in various roles since 2008. Aldo began their career as a Robotics Internship at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, CEM in 2008. In 2009, they became the Design and Automation Chief at Hi-Tec de México S.A. de C.V, where they provided training for CAD/CAM Software(ESPRIT) and installation of wireless communication and monitoring equipment for CNC, and also provided mechanical design and CNC programming of complex parts using CAD/CAM software. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as an Advanced Applications Engineer at Tecnologías de Control del Norte S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for modeling of Oil and Gas distribution lines, configuration and installation of satellite communications systems, and application development for Blackberry smartphones. In 2013, they started their position as an R&D Projects Engineer at Igeotest Marina, where they were involved in the development of control software for hydraulic robot manipulators and drilling rig. In 2017, they began their role as System Engineer at Valeo, where they were responsible for LIDAR Sensor Fusion and Object Tracking for ADAS Applications, system requirements analysis, system and algorithm troubleshooting, and system test analysis. In 2022, they became the Chief Science Officer and Principal Perception Engineer at Helgen Technologies.

Aldo Arriaga, PhD completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2008. Aldo then went on to obtain a Master 1 in Mecatronique et Systèmes Micro-Mecatroniques from SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM in 2012 and a Master 2 in Mecatrónica y Sistemas Micromecatrónicos from the Universidad de Oviedo in 2013. Aldo concluded their educational journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2017. In addition, Aldo Arriaga, PhD has obtained two certifications: a Sensor Fusion Nanodegree from Udacity in 2021 and a Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in 2018.
