Jessica Steward

As Product Lead, Jessica specifically focuses on the Earnings Polygraph product. Jessica works on early product development all the way to increased scaling. She leads testing projects to develop and maintain knowledge of the customer base and user experience.

Jessica’s career began in mental health as a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisor where she worked in a variety of settings treating clients in need of counseling. In 2020, Jessica joined aptihealth in its early startup stages as Licensed Mental Health Counselor where she met Helios’ CEO and Co-Founder Sean. Shortly thereafter, Jessica developed an affinity for Product working on beta testing and user experience. In less than a year, Jessica made the jump to Clinical Product Manager where she led an engineering team to transform the way providers operate and deliver care.

Prior to aptihealth, Jessica worked in a variety of counselor roles from Behavioral Health Clinician, Psychiatric Crisis Worker, Per Diem Therapist, Military and Family Life Counselor, and more. She was also an adjunct faculty and guest lecturer at Schenectady County Community College and an Instructor to New York state employees on a variety of mental health topics. Today, Jessica still responds to critical incidents and disruptive events on-call, advises future therapists in process of obtaining licensure, and consults with corporations to improve workplace productivity and morale. Jessica remains enthusiastic about improving mental health conditions everywhere but also in creating products that people love. With Jessica’ experience in the health field, it’s safe to say she knows first hand the importance of human communication – language, speech, and tone of voice.

Jessica received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Bachelor of Science in Psychology from State University of New York at Oswego, Qualified Supervisor Certification from Florida International University, and Product Management Certification from Cornell University.
