Leslie Liang

Leslie Liang is currently the Vice President of Legal at Helix. Prior to their current role, they served as Corporate Counsel at Amazon Lab126 from April 2014 until May 2016. In this role, they were a member of the legal group supporting hardware and software development across multiple product teams. Leslie negotiated commercial and intellectual property transactions with development partners, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and contractors, and provided product, compliance and standards bodies advice and counseling.

Before their time at Amazon Lab126, Ms. Liang was Legal Counsel at Kwong Wing Group Ltd. from January 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they assisted with the management of global licenses for adidas badminton and gymnastics sports lines, including supply, manufacture, marketing, e-commerce and distribution. Leslie also drafted and negotiated technology licenses, distributorships, stock purchases and related agreements; evaluated additional licensing opportunities; ensured legal compliance and managed legal disputes; acted as executive assistant to CEO; and liaised between company and Heartbeat Sports division of adidas AG.

Ms. Liang began their career as an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati from January 2011 to December 2013.

Leslie Liang has a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School, a Grand Diplome in Classic Pastry Arts from the International Culinary Center, a Master of Science in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University. Leslie also has certification from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) as a Certified Health Care Compliance Officer (CHC) and certification from the USPTO as a Patent Bar Examiner.
