John Duffy

John Duffy is the current VP, Advanced Development at Picnic. Prior to this, they were Partner and Chief Technology Officer at GreenCo Filtration from January 2020 to March 2021. John has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Biomass Controls, LLC from March 2019 to October 2019. John has also worked as a Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from June 2013 to March 2019 and as Manager, Research Engineering at PACCAR from October 2001 to June 2013.

John Duffy's educational career began with a BSME from the University of Florida. John then went on to get an MSME in Control System Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before ultimately completing their Ph D in Systems and Controls Optimization: Path Planning from the University of Florida.

They work with Eric Cavazos - Director, Software, Nick Spada - Director, Mechanical Engineering, and Steve Remis - Senior Director, Systems Engineering. John Duffy reports to Tim Talda, VP, Engineering.
