Laura James

Director, Customer Success at Picnic

Laura James is the Director of Customer Success at Picnic. Laura has over fifteen years of experience in customer service and experience management.

James began their career as a Business Analyst for T-Mobile in 2005. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing customer care data and identifying ways to improve the customer experience.

In 2011, James joined Wimmer Solutions, a Microsoft partner company, as the Global Customer Experience Program Manager for Microsoft Office.com. In this role, they managed the online customer experience for multiple Office products, including website layout, online promotions, and new product launches. Laura also worked with call center quality and management teams to improve the customer experience.

In 2015, James left Wimmer Solutions to join Outerwall as the Director of Service Quality and Social Media. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing customer service and social media for Redbox, Coinstar, and EcoATM.

James joined Picnic in 2016 as the Director of Customer Operations. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer service, including call center operations, social media, and online support.

Laura James has a BSEd from The University of Georgia in Art Education. Laura also has a certification from COPC in CSP Registered Coordinator and VMO Registered Coordinator. Additionally, they have a background in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Laura James reports to Lamont Glendinning, VP, Sales. They work with and Haritha Vaddadi - Director, Customer Success.
