Tim Talda

Tim Talda is currently the VP of Engineering at Picnic. Prior to this, they were at Amazon for 4 years where they were responsible for strategic and tactical leadership of semi- and fully automated packaging systems for singles and multiple orders. During their time there, they grew their team from 5 to 25 people in two years and saved operations $200K+ per day by installing 75% of automation solutions by the end of 2019.

Before Amazon, Tim was the Global Project Engineering Director at INVISTA for 2 years and the Engineering Director at Infinia Corporation for 4 years. At Infinia Corporation, they successfully implemented a machine with changes in both operations and maintenance practices at their flagship fulfillment center and two other sites.

Tim Talda graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Tim then went on to get their MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Finally, they got their MBA in Business from Pepperdine University.
