Constantin Abel

Group CFO at Helpling

Constantin Abel is the Group CFO at Helpling. Constantin has over 10 years of experience in financial services valuation and has advised financial institutions, loan portfolio sellers and purchasers in dealing with “non-core” and non-performing loan portfolios.

Constantin started their career at PwC Advisory NL in 2009 as a Consultant in the Valuations department. Constantin was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2010 and Manager in 2012. In 2013, they did a secondment into the UK Financial Services Valuation team. Constantin returned to the Netherlands in 2015 as a Senior Manager. Constantin left PwC in 2016 to join Helpling as Group CFO.

Constantin Abel completed an executive master's degree in business valuation at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, followed by an MSc in economics and business administration with a focus on finance and strategic management at Copenhagen Business School. Constantin then spent a semester studying abroad at Fudan University before completing a BSc in international business studies with a focus on accounting and finance at Maastricht University.

Constantin Abel reports to Philip Huffmann, Co-Founder. They work with Michelle Van Os - Managing Director, The Netherlands, Manar Alkassar - Founder & CEO, and Gabriel Bobinski - Chief Business Development Officer.
