Fran Beytrison

Fran Beytrison has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Innovation & Learning at Helvetas since April 2023. Prior to that, they founded ALP SAFARI in February 2021. From March 2022 to February 2023, they worked as a Proposal Writer at Caritas Schweiz. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at Ravenstone Consult from January 2020 to February 2022. Fran has also held leadership positions, including Country Director at Oxfam (September 2014 to April 2017) and Regional Policy Advisor at Norwegian Refugee Council (September 2012 to August 2014). Additionally, they had a multi-role tenure at Oxfam, serving as Senior Policy Advisor and Gaza Programme Manager from 2009 to 2011. Their earlier experiences include working as Deputy Country Director and Regional Programme Manager at International Rescue Committee from 2006 to 2008, and as Head of Reporting and Reporting Officer at ACTED from 2004 to 2006. Fran also embarked on a sailing adventure as a crew member with Blue water sailing - East Asia from March 2009 to July 2009.

Fran Beytrison's education history includes a CAS in Gouvernance territoriale: Fédéralisme et politique locale from IDHEAP | Institut de hautes études en administration publique, a CAS in Marketing Digital from HES-SO Valais-Wallis, a Cycle du Diplome in Organisations Internationales from Sciences Po, a BA Hons in European Studies from King's College London, and a TESOL degree from Windsor Institute, Barcelona.
