Meskerem Gezahegn

Meskerem Gezahegn is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at Helvetas since July 2021, Meskerem has previously held significant positions at CARE Ethiopia as Human Resources Manager, and at the British Council Ethiopia as Human Resources and Information Knowledge Manager. An expertise in updating HR policies, managing the recruitment process, and overseeing staff development has been demonstrated throughout these roles. Meskerem's foundational experience includes working as a Senior Human Resources Administrator at Action Contre la Faim - France and administrative roles in Kitchen World PLC. Meskerem holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Adama Science and Technology University, a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Management and Technology Systems from Addis Ababa University, and a Diploma in Secretarial Science and Office Management from Addis Ababa University College of Commerce.
