Helvetica Capital AG was founded in 2015 as an independent investment firm which arose from the team behind SVC Ltd. for Risk Capital for SMEs, a wholly owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse. Since 2010, the team at SVC Ltd. (in 2018 renamed Credit Suisse Entrepreneur Capital Ltd. or CSEC) has built up an attractive portfolio with direct investments in Swiss SMEs in the venture, growth and later stage areas, which Helvetica Capital continues to manage and further develop as exclusive advisor to CSEC.

Helvetica Capital's executive team has a wealth of experience in the financial industry. The CEO previously worked at Credit Suisse, and the Managing Director Private Investments / Head of Marketing & Sales Asset Management at Mutschler Holding AG. The team is rounded out by the Head of Marketing & Sales at Swisscard AECS GmbH, and the Vice President at Credit Suisse. All members of the team have a finance-related education from the University of Zurich.
