Whitney Harris

Whitney Harris is an experienced media professional and educator with a strong background in journalism and teaching. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of the District of Columbia and as an Adjunct Professor at American University, Whitney also works as a Freelance Technical Writer and Voiceover Artist for Hendall Inc. Throughout a diverse career, Whitney has held significant roles in television news, including as an Anchor for WRIC, where responsibilities included anchoring morning news and producing special reports. Previous positions include Weekend Anchor/Reporter at WTOC-TV, Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at NBC29 WVIR-TV, and TV Production Teacher at Buford Middle School. Whitney holds a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Maryland.
