Chris Hammitt has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Chris currently serves as the Director of IT at HHM CPAs, where they oversee the maintenance and innovation of technology systems across the company. Chris'sresponsibilities include leading the development and implementation of IT systems, implementing business continuity protocols, and analyzing infrastructure performance.

Prior to this role, Chris worked as an Information Technology System Administrator at HHM CPAs from October 2020 to September 2021. Chris also gained experience as an Information Technology Specialist during their freelance work, where they successfully replaced over 1000 workstations and peripherals in T-Mobile facilities.

Chris has also worked as a Presales Engineer at Smarthomes Chattanooga, Inc., where they defined project scopes, facilitated communication between project managers and clients, and stayed updated with emerging technology.

Before that, they worked as an Account Manager at ACT Business Machines, Inc., where they identified technology needs of businesses and expanded the client base.

Chris began their career as a Computer Support Technician at Chattanooga State Community College, where they provided technical support and resolved hardware and software issues.

Additionally, they have entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/Operator of New South Printing Company, where they founded the company, secured funding for a modernized printing system, and significantly increased business volume through lead follow-ups and networking.

Chris Hammitt earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical Diploma in Computer Operations Technology from Chattanooga State Community College (Tennessee College of Applied Science) in 2014. Chris also holds several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (obtained in June 2021), Project+ from CompTIA (obtained in September 2020), ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in September 2019), Network+ from CompTIA (obtained in October 2018), Security+ from CompTIA (obtained in July 2018), and A+ from CompTIA (obtained in May 2018).
