Layz Mars

Layz Mars currently serves as an Associate Scientific Advisor at Herbarium Laboratório Botânico, focusing on developing collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and assisting in advisory board meetings. Previous roles include teaching a postgraduate course in phytotherapy at Associacao Brasileira De Fitoterapia, managing regulatory compliance at Bio-Manguinhos / Fiocruz, and overseeing logistics and supply chain pharmacy at RIOgaleão. Layz gained extensive experience as a resident pharmacist at FIOCRUZ, and held positions in quality assurance and scientific communication at Bayer, Genzyme, and GSK. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a Master's degree in Science and Technology in Pharmaceutical Sciences currently in progress, and several postgraduate qualifications in health and pharmacy.
