Sharlene Daniels

Sharlene Daniels has a diverse and extensive work experience in various security roles. Sharlene currently holds the position of Vice President of Security at Hermeus since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of M. Hatter Strategic Security starting in November 2022.

From 2021 to 2022, Daniels worked as the Director of Security at Anduril Industries. Before that, they were involved with Leidos from 2018 to 2021 in the Program Management Office, serving as Contract site lead and managing a team of 13 personnel. Sharlene provided expert advice and assistance to the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO).

Daniels gained valuable experience in security through their role as a Security Specialist at Watermark Risk Management International, LLC from 2016 to 2018. In this position, they facilitated the development and fielding of select Department of Defense combat support and weapon systems.

Sharlene also has an extensive background in the United States Air Force. From 2007 to 2016, Daniels held several positions, including Superintendent, Inspector General; Security Project Manager, Joint Space Operation Center Relocation; Presidential Security; and Personnel Reliability Program Manager - Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer. During their time in the Air Force, they demonstrated expertise in planning, conducting interviews, inspections, and investigations.

Before joining the Air Force, Daniels served as an Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer for the 435th Air Base Wing at Ramstein AB in Germany from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Wildlife Enforcement Officer and Executive Security officer from 1993 to 1996.

Overall, Sharlene Daniels has accumulated a wealth of experience in security, ranging from executive positions to specialized roles in various organizations and the military.

Sharlene Daniels attended Ashford University from 2009 to 2013. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Homeland Security/Emergency Management. Their field of study focused on Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services.
