Hemant Saklecha

Hemant Saklecha has extensive work experience in the banking and financial services sector. Hemant currently holds the position of Head - Retail Policy and Risk and Fraud Control Unit at Hero FinCorp. Prior to this, they worked as the Head Credit and Policy - Rural Finance at L&T Financial Services. Hemant has also held various positions at IDFC FIRST Bank, including Head Risk - Retail Banking, Head Underwriting - Retail Assets, and Head - Retail Credit Policy. Hemant also has experience working at DBS Bank as the Head - Policy and Underwriting - Retail Assets, where they played a key role in launching mortgage products in India. Hemant started their career at HDFC Bank as a Product Risk Manager - Mortgages and later worked at ICICI Bank Limited in roles such as Policy & Risk Manager - Mortgages and Credit Risk Manager.

Hemant Saklecha completed their CA degree in Commerce from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1999-2003 and is currently pursuing a CFE degree in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation from ACFE, from 2022-2023.
