Stephen Stones has a diverse and extensive work experience in quality management and sustainability within the food industry. Stephen currently holds the role of Head Group Quality-Commercial at Hero Group since July 2022. Previously, they served as the Quality Manager-Group at the same company from April 2019 to August 2022, where they were responsible for 3rd party manufacturing and delivering business support across quality and compliance areas.

Before joining Hero Group, Stephen worked at Organix Brands Ltd (Hero Group) as the Head of Technical and Sustainability from September 2005 to April 2019. In this dual role, they oversaw all quality and regulatory aspects, including extensive export markets and collaborated with the 3rd party supply chain globally to ensure compliance.

Stephen's earlier experience includes being the Technical Manager (interim) at Toms Confectionary (UK) from December 2004 to September 2005, the Technical Manager at Northern Foods from January 2004 to October 2004, and the Technical/Quality Manager at various Geest businesses from September 1996 to January 2004. During their time at Geest, they managed technical functions, handled major UK retailer accounts, and took on project roles for new plant facilities.

Stephen Stones attended Glasgow College of Food Technology from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Food Technology. Stephen then went on to the University of Reading from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Food Science, specializing in Food Technology and Processing. No degree name is provided for their studies at Glasgow College of Food Technology.
