Adam Morgan

Adam Morgan is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer at Velan Capital since July 2020. In addition, Adam holds several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board and Director at Heron Therapeutics, Inc., and Director and Audit Committee Chair at Health Outlook Corp. Previously, Adam was Chairman of the Board at Alimera until its acquisition by ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Adam's earlier career includes positions at Broadfin Capital LLC, Iguana Healthcare Partners, and Pura Vida Investments, as well as roles in medical technology sales and management at BIOTRONIK and American Medical Systems. Adam holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
