Fabian Gerstenhaber M.d.

Fabian Gerstenhaber M.D. is an accomplished surgeon currently serving as Chief of Surgery at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center since March 2024. In addition, Fabian holds the position of General Surgeon at Herzliya Medical Center and leads the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Service at Tel Aviv Medical Center. Fabian's expertise in surgical oncology was further developed during fellowships at IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori Foundation in Milan, Italy, and ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo. Prior experience includes roles as an attending surgeon and resident physician at Tel Aviv Medical Center, as well as a distinguished career as a pilot with the Israeli Air Force. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Surgery from Tel Aviv University.
