Michal Vodak has a diverse work history with experience in marketing, sales, and management roles. Michal began their career at Unilever as a Strategic Advisor, analyzing the benefits of a merger with Bestfoods. Michal then moved on to Pojišťovna České spořitelny, where they served as the Head of Marketing, Advertising, and PR, focusing on product development and brand launches.

After that, Vodak worked at T-Mobile Czech Republic as the Senior Head of Sales Campaign Management, where they improved the efficiency of sales channels during marketing campaigns. Michal then joined Mars as a Portfolio Brand Manager, overseeing both the Chocolate and Dog Care brands and achieving consistent revenue growth.

Vodak then worked at Seznam.cz as the Marketing Director, where they managed and developed four departments, significantly improving brand awareness and PR results. Michal later became the Marketing Director at Mediální skupina MAFRA, leading brand management and reorganizing the marketing department.

After their time at MAFRA, Vodak served as an Interim Marketing Director and Management Consultant at Sodexo Česká republika. Michal then worked at Schaeffler as a Digital Program Manager, preparing the company for digital challenges in 45 countries.

Vodak also worked as a Freelancer, providing marketing and strategy consulting services to various clients. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at Heureka Group, responsible for managing business operations in multiple countries and coordinating various departments.

Michal Vodak's education history starts in 1994 when they enrolled in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University in Brno. Michal pursued a Master's Degree in Economics and Management, completing it in 1999.

Afterward, from 1999 to 2002, Michal attended the same university's Faculty of Business and Economics to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Marketing and Trade.

In 2004, Michal obtained a certification called CIMA - B, although the institution that provided this certification is unknown.

Recently, in 2021, Michal participated in a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson, specializing in Brand Management. Michal completed the program and obtained a Mini MBA certification in Brand Marketing.
