Amir Idar

Amir Idar is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as VP Engineering at Zerto, an HPE company since December 2021, Amir leads engineering efforts to innovate IT aaS in a hybrid cloud model. Prior roles include SVP Engineering, VP Engineering, and Development Director at Zerto, where a team of 70 developers was led to create a top-tier distributed disaster recovery solution. Amir has also held significant positions at 3M Electronic Monitoring Ltd., BMC Software, Verint Systems, and Elbit Systems, overseeing R&D, software development, and system engineering across diverse projects and teams. Amir holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology.
