Sheena Li

Sheena Li is a Principal Scientist at Hexagon Bio, leading the genetic screening team to discover and validate cellular targets of natural products in fungi. Prior to this, Sheena worked at Yumanity Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist, engaging in target discovery and prioritization for ALS compounds. Sheena also conducted human chemical genetic screens as a Consultant, and specialized in chemical genetics at the University of Toronto and RIKEN. With a background in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Sheena has extensive experience in genetic screening, target identification, and validation using cutting-edge methods like CRISPR and next generation sequencing.
