Johan Ahstrom

Johan Ahstrom has over 40 years of experience in the finance and energy industries. Johan began their career in 1981 as Manager and Förste Byråsekreterare at SEB and EKN. In 1987, they joined ABB as Senior Vice President of ABB Financial Services, Asia Far East Group, providing financial and commercial sales support. In 1997, they took part in a two-year World Bank Group Staff Exchange Program with ABB as a Senior Financial Analyst. Johan then returned to ABB in 1999, taking on the role of Senior Business Development Manager, Senior Vice President, and Senior Business Development Manager tasked with sales and development of complex electrical distribution projects for the global market. In 2007, they moved to Imera as SVP. In 2015, they joined KIC InnoEnergy as Managing Director, Head of Pre-Feasibility Study. In 2017, they returned to ABB as Global HVDC Marketing Manager and Senior Business Development Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Hexicon as Head of Transmission and Origination.

Johan Ahstrom attended Stockholm University from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a Business degree with a major in finance and marketing.
