Daniel Hewitt

Daniel Hewitt has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources and Employee Relations. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President, Human Resources at HEYDUDE since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in various roles including Executive Director, HR Enterprise Partner, Senior Director, Employee Relations & HR Compliance Lead, and Director, Employee Relations & HR Compliance Lead from 2019 to 2022. Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, they served as the Director of Employee and Labor Relations at Southcoast Health in 2019. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as Senior Legal Counsel, Employment Law at CVS Health. Daniel started their career in 2001 as an Associate Attorney at Ross & Hardies/McGuireWoods and later joined Littler Mendelson as an Associate Attorney from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they worked as Director, Legal Affairs at United Rentals.

Daniel Hewitt has a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from William James College. Daniel also holds a JD degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Daniel completed their undergraduate education at Cornell University - College of Arts and Sciences, where they obtained a BA in Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Daniel has acquired several additional certifications including CQ Certified Facilitator from the Cultural Intelligence Center, a Certificate in Collective Bargaining and Labor Contract Administration from Cornell University ILR School, and a Certified Instructor certificate from ELI, Inc.
