Alexandra Villano

Senior Director Of Program Development & Strategy at HFC

Alexandra Villano has extensive experience in the field of development and fundraising. Alexandra currently holds the position of Senior Director of Program Development & Strategy at HFC since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Development at Greyston from May 2017 to September 2019. Alexandra also has experience as the Managing Director of Development & External Affairs at the Women's Prison Association from June 2010 to May 2017. Before that, they worked at My Sisters' Place, Inc. as a Grants and Communications Manager from September 2008 to June 2010. Alexandra also has experience as an Independent Consultant from 2005 to 2008, as well as a Senior Development Associate at Safe Space NYC from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Operations, Re-entry Services at the Women's Prison Association from 2002 to 2005.

Alexandra Villano earned a Master's degree in Individualized Study from New York University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and Italian Studies at SUNY New Paltz from 1991 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Alexandra became a United Way Senior Fellow in Non-Profit Management through Baruch College. The specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided. Furthermore, Alexandra obtained a Certificate of Study in Italian Language and Studies from L'Universita per Stranieri and a Certificate of Study in Social Work and Spanish Language from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, although the duration of these courses is unspecified.
