Carl Henrik Enell has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carl Henrik began their career as an IVSI Licensed Ski Instructor at Åre Ski School from 1995 to 1999. Carl Henrik then joined Merck in 2002 and held various positions, including Marketing Manager and Senior Product Specialist. During their time at Merck, they led commercial assessments, conducted market research, and managed marketing activities for different product portfolios within the company. In 2006, they became a Marketing Associate at Merck, responsible for planning and executing marketing activities for the ophthalmology portfolio.

Enell's career progressed further in 2012 when they joined Gilead Sciences as the Director of Commercial Planning & Operations, where they led market planning efforts for the Global HIV business and supported pipeline and portfolio planning. Carl Henrik later became the Executive Director of Corporate Development at Gilead Sciences, responsible for strategic assessments and intelligence gathering for corporate development activities.

In 2020, Enell joined Assembly Biosciences, Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, where they contributed to the company's growth and development. Currently, Enell holds the position of Chief Business Officer at HI-Bio, and they will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer in November 2022. In these positions, Enell oversees the business and operational aspects of the company.
