Erin Zaikis

Senior Director Of Global Corporate Partnerships at HIAS

Erin Zaikis has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Erin is the Founder of RISE by Sundara, a social innovation fund that supports female social entrepreneurs from emerging economies in improving water, sanitation, and public health. In this role, they have also led emergency response programs in South Asia and Sub Saharan Africa.

Erin has also worked as a Consultant at Erin Zaikis Consulting, where they provided fundraising coaching and public health consulting services to nonprofits working in Rwanda, Togo, Panama, South Africa, Nepal, Ethiopia, and Israel. Erin successfully built fee-for-service models, created corporate partnerships, and developed profitable travel revenue streams for their clients.

Prior to that, Erin served as the US CEO of IsraAID, a humanitarian organization. Erin has also worked as the Director of Community Engagement at Justifi.org and as a Public Health Outreach Coordinator at Hospital Albert Einstein.

In addition, Erin has gained experience through roles such as Editor of Publications at the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam), Combating Child Trafficking and Child Sex Tourism Intern at ECPAT International, Development Intern at The Saylor Foundation, and Research Assistant for the National Consortium of the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the US Department of Homeland Security.

Most recently, Erin has joined HIAS as the Senior Director of Global Corporate Partnerships.

Erin Zaikis attended the University of Michigan from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study focused on Public Policy, specifically Middle East Foreign Policy, Conflict & Coexistence Studies, and Terrorism. In 2010, they briefly attended Tel Aviv University, specializing in Terrorism and Middle East Foreign Policy.
