Ronit Zemel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. They began their career in 2010 as a Unit Supervisor and Cabin Counselor at URJ Camp Harlam. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Judaic Studies and Hebrew Teacher at Mount Zion Temple. In 2015, they joined Harlam Day Camp as an Assistant Director. In 2016, they took on the role of Education Specialist at Temple Micah. Simultaneously, they began working at Georgetown University as the Jewish Engagement and Education Coordinator, a role they held until 2020. At Georgetown, Ronit also served as an Assistant Director for Jewish Life from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they joined HIAS as a Culture Officer, and they were later promoted to the role of Culture and Communications Manager in April 2021.

Ronit Zemel's education history begins in 2011 when they enrolled at Macalester College to pursue a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies. They completed their undergraduate education in 2015.
