Julio Aguirre-Ghiso

Julio Aguirre-Ghiso is currently the Rose C. Falkenstein Chair in Cancer Biology and Endowed Professor of Cell Biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to this, they were Scientific Founder and SAB member at HiberCell from 2019. From 2008 to 2021, they were a Professor with Tenure and Associate Professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Julio was also Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2008 to 2021. From 2003 to 2008, they were Assistant Professor at SUNY-Albany - Wadsworth Center.

Julio Aguirre-Ghiso obtained an MSc and PhD in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Buenos Aires between 1989 and 1997. Julio also obtained a PhD from the same university.
