Per Hägerö

Per Hägerö has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Per is currently Vice President Engineering & Innovation IAMS at HID Global, where they are responsible for building a connected and smart experience for HID and ASSA ABLOY products. Prior to this, Per held the role of Director at HID Global from 2017 to 2022, where they focused on reshaping the industry and driving the transition to a digital future.

In addition, Per has served as Chairman Of The Board at Vaxxa Auktioner since 2016 and as a Board Member at Direkto.se from 2018 to 2020. Per also held the role of CTO at 123on from 2016 to 2017, where they led software development and product strategy.

Earlier in their career, Per worked for Technology neXus as the Business Unit Director Software and later as the Chief Technology Officer. Their tenure at Technology neXus saw the transformation of the company from a niche PKI vendor to an IAM platform provider. Per also served as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Nexus Group during this time.

Prior to joining Technology neXus, Per worked for PortWise, where they held the positions of Chief Technology Officer & Chief Marketing Officer. PortWise was a leading provider of Identity and Access Management solutions, which was later acquired by neXus. Per played a crucial role in the development, marketing, and sale of the platform.

Before their roles at PortWise and neXus, Per worked at Icon Medialab as an Engagement Manager and Principal Consultant, and at WM-data as a Principal Consultant. Per began their career as a Specialist in the Swedish Armed Forces.
