Nick Wichert has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Nick is currently the Head of Build - Corporate Venture at High Alpha Innovation, where they lead a team in identifying, evaluating, and building new ventures. Nick has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, product development, and business strategy, and works closely with senior executives to drive growth and innovation.

Before that, Nick was the Co-Founder & Advisor at Bloodknot, LLC, where they led the design, prototyping, and manufacturing of ice fishing tip-up designs. Nick also doubled sales year over year through digital and physical sales channels.

Prior to that, they held several roles at Northwestern Mutual, including Sr. Director, Risk Product Growth & Competition (Corporate Development), Managing Director of the Northwestern Mutual Venture Studio, Sr. Director, Product Innovation, Senior Product Manager at Banyan Labs, and Business Consultant, Innovation. In these positions, they were responsible for leading innovation efforts, strategic partnerships, and new business development.

Additionally, Nick served as a Board Member at Islands of Brilliance, a learning experience for children and young adults on the autism spectrum. Nick was also an Advisor at Searium Solutions LLC, and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Furthermore, they co-founded Revolution Labs, a venture focused on reducing unemployment in Milwaukee, and Victory Spark, a mentor-driven Lean LaunchPad Accelerator for Veterans.
