Kevin Tucker

Chief Curator at High Museum of Art

Kevin Tucker currently serves as the Chief Curator at the High Museum of Art since June 2017. Prior to this role, Kevin acted as a Museum Consultant from December 2015 to May 2017 and held the position of Executive Director at the Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement for a brief period in 2015. Kevin's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at the Dallas Museum of Art from June 2003 to August 2015 as the Margot B. Perot Senior Curator of Decorative Arts and Design. Kevin also contributed to the Columbia Museum of Art as Deputy Director and Chief Curator from January 2000 to May 2003, having previously been the Curator of Decorative Arts. Kevin's career in the museum sector began as the Curator of Decorative Arts and the Owens-Thomas House at the Telfair Museum of Art from January 1999 to January 2000. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in History (Public History) from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, earned in 1989 and 1994, respectively.
