Maryssa O'Connor FCCT currently serves as a Member at HMC (The Heads' Conference) and as Senior Vice President at GEMS Education, where tenure began in May 2020. Maryssa has held various leadership positions including Principal/CEO at GEMS Wellington International School, Northern Education Trust, and Teesside University Trust for Academies. In addition to being an Associate Member of the Association of Education Advisers and a Fellow of both the Chartered College of Teaching and High Performance Learning, Maryssa is pursuing a Master of Education at the University of Buckingham. Educational qualifications include an NPQEL in Executive Leadership from Best Practice Network, High Impact Leadership from the University of Cambridge, and NPQH in Education Leadership from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
