David Barton

David Barton is the current EVP, Chief Product & Chief Technology Officer at High Wire Networks. Prior to joining High Wire Networks, David served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Stellar Cyber from February 2019 to March 2020. David also held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Forcepoint from December 2014 to May 2017, and Chief Operations Officer at Five Iron from May 2017 to February 2019. In addition to their work in the private sector, David has also been involved with the Security Advisor Alliance, serving as a Founding Board Member from September 2014 to September 2017. David has also held positions as Senior Director, Head of Information Security at HireRight from August 2012 to December 2014, and Director of Security at ATT from March 2006 to September 2012.

David Barton started their educational career by completing an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. David then went on to study Computer Science at [Simpson College. After graduation, they worked as a computer security consultant and obtained a certification from the www.isc2.org organization as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
