David Smith is the current Service Manager at Highland Office Equipment Limited. Prior to this, they were the Manager IT Data and Security at EverCare from June 2021 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for technology advising the Executive Office, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership. Additionally, they oversaw the Cyber Security program, which included monthly knowledge assessments, training, and simulated bad actor attempts of compromise.

Smith has also served as the Senior Administrator for Cloud hosted EMR software, Home Care Home Base, and Care Compass. In this role, they were responsible for regulatory data reporting to satisfy DOH, HHS, OIG for Medicaid, State, and Federal requirements. David also initiated the Legacy Systems Refresh & Process Improvement, which included introducing a UCaaS system to meet business needs such as VOIP, Chat, Virtual Meetings, and E-Faxing.

In addition to their work with EverCare, David Smith has also been responsible for IT Security Responsibilities including companywide system updates and internal and external vulnerability scanning. David has also served as an ITIL/ITSM Administrator (Service Now) and MDM Administrator.

David Smith has a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology, as well as a high school diploma in international baccalaureate from Pine Bush Highschool. David is also certified from CompTIA in CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
