Santiago de Vega has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Santiago began as a Staff Research Associate at Universiadad Autonoma in 2000, then moved to Innova Medicatrix in 2003 as a QA Technician & Development. In 2004, they were Quality Manager at SUPERMERCADOS SANCHEZ ROMERO S.L. In 2006, they became Quality Assurance Manager at CTC Pharma Logistics. In 2010, they were Qualified Person at Movianto (An Owens & Minor Company). From 2012-2020, they were Senior Manager. EMEA Operations & Projects at OCASA, and is currently Drug Supply & QA Director at Highlight Therapeutics SL.

Santiago de Vega obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Studies from Universidad de Alcalá in 1999. Santiago then obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2000. In 2001, they obtained a Master's Degree in Food Technology and Processing from CESIF. In 2011, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from PROFIT CONTROL, SL.
