Andrzej Orłowski

Andrzej Orłowski has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrzej began their career at Xerox, where they worked as a DTP Specialist and Graphics Designer, focusing on graphic design and preparing designs for printing. Andrzej later transitioned to the role of Shift Manager and Analyst, where they supervised high-volume digital printing processes and managed a team. Andrzej also worked as a System Analyst, designing and developing data processing applications and collaborating with key corporate clients.

In 2000, Andrzej joined T-Mobile Polska as a Main Billing Specialist, where they contributed to the design and development of the billing system and worked with vendors on billing applications. Andrzej held this role until 2015.

Following their time at T-Mobile, Andrzej joined PZU, a leading insurance company. Andrzej initially worked as an Expert, conducting research and designing solutions based on artificial intelligence for image recognition and analysis. Andrzej'swork primarily focused on supporting sales processes and combating fraud. Andrzej also participated in innovative projects such as the Innovative Claims Handling Project and the Everest Project. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of System Architect, where they focused on implementing Artificial Intelligence Solutions, including image recognition and fraud detection.

Currently, Andrzej is the Head of AI R&D at Higo Sense, a role they commenced in December 2021. In this position, they are responsible for determining the strategy for the development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms, managing a team, and overseeing the implementation of AI projects.

Andrzej Orłowski completed their education at Warsaw University of Technology from 1992 to 1997. During this time, they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering and Robotics. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same university. In July 1997, they also obtained a certification as an Adobe graphics operator in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and QuarkXPress from Sad / Apple Computer IMC Poland.
