Melinda Gear

Melinda Gear is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in teaching and management. Currently serving as the Head of Humanities and Social Sciences and Geography Business and HASS Teacher at Hillcrest Christian College since January 2019, Melinda previously held various roles at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, including HSIE Entrepreneurship and Geography Teacher, Director of Human Society and Environment (Acting), and HSIE Coordinator. Melinda's experience also includes a tenure as a Councillor for the NSW Geography Teachers Association and HSC Marker for Business Studies with BOSTES. Prior to a dedicated teaching career, Melinda worked in customer service management and served as a Company Director at Bankstown City Credit Union Limited. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Gifted Education from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education from Macquarie University.
