MacIej Chmielewski

Maciej Chmielewski, PhD, currently serves as the Research and Development Group Manager and Technical Project Manager at Hilti Group since February 2020, overseeing the development team in designing and testing new products within the Business Unit Installations utilizing Agile/Scrum methodology. Prior to this role, Maciej held the position of Assistant Professor at Warsaw University of Technology from October 2018 to February 2020, where responsibilities included leading lectures and supervising theses on Aircraft Engine Design. With a strong background in engineering, Maciej worked as an Advanced Lead Engineer at the Institute of Aviation from June 2012 to January 2020, focusing on combustor life cycle engineering, project management, and process improvements for GE Aviation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and multiple degrees in aeronautics from Warsaw University of Technology, complemented by experience in various engineering and technical roles.
