Sibyl McCarley

Sibyl McCarley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sibyl started their career in 2004 at Grant Thornton as an Operations Associate, where they gained exposure to HR projects and resource management. Sibyl then joined Stark Investments as an HR Associate in 2007.

In 2008, Sibyl joined Deloitte as a Resource Management Consultant and later became a Talent Specialist. Sibyl eventually became a Talent Business Advisor, Manager, providing strategic counsel to senior leaders on talent-related matters and managing talent processes.

Sibyl then transitioned to the legal industry, joining Michael Best & Friedrich LLP in 2015. Sibyl served as a Human Resources Manager, streamlining processes and accelerating the firm's performance through talent strategies. Sibyl later became the Director of Human Resources, responsible for strategic direction, talent management, policy and compliance, and professional development.

In 2020, Sibyl joined Modern Hire as the Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing talent acquisition, progressive People policies and procedures, engagement and inclusion efforts, and long-range strategic talent management goals. Sibyl was promoted to Senior Vice President, Talent and became a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

In 2023, Sibyl joined HireVue as the Vice President of People & Engagement.

Sibyl McCarley holds a BA in English, Psychology, and History from Southern Methodist University. Sibyl also obtained an MBA in Business and Human Resources as well as a JD in Law from Marquette University. In addition, they have obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
