Carla Gomes

Carla Gomes has extensive experience in Human Resources management, currently serving as the Head of HR for Iberia and Ireland at Hiscox since May 2019. Previously, Carla held the position of Human Resources Director at Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Embraer Portugal, where responsibilities included HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement, and health and safety initiatives. Early career roles included Human Resources Director at Rexel and a long-term assignment in the same capacity at Nortel, alongside a brief tenure as Marketing Director at Rexel. Carla's foundational experience in recruitment and training management was established through roles at Adecco and CIDEC. Carla Gomes holds a General Management Program specialization from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and a degree from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.
