Jose Magaña

Jose Magaña's work experience includes serving as the Executive Vice President of Operations at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund since 2023, before which they were the Senior Vice President of Student Programs. Jose also worked at Stanford University as a Seasonal Admission Officer and later as the Assistant Director of Admissions (Communications and Operations), starting in 2019. Prior to that, Jose worked at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund as the Director of Student & Family Programs and as the Manager of Development. Jose also held positions as an Analyst of Development. In 2011, Jose was the President of the Phillips Brooks House Association Inc., where they oversaw various responsibilities and led the organization through important initiatives. Jose also served as the Supervisor of the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and held other roles within the organization. Jose's earlier experience includes working as a Peer Advising Fellow at Harvard University and as the Director of the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment program.

Jose Magaña attended South El Monte High School from 2007 to 2011. Jose later pursued a degree in Economics at Harvard University from 2011 to 2015.
