Premkumar Balasubramanian

Premkumar Balasubramanian has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Premkumar is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Hitachi Digital Services since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President at Cognizant from October 2017 to December 2020. Premkumar also held various roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions, including Senior Director of Cognizant Digital Engineering and Technology Practice Leader for Performance & Resilience Engineering. Before joining Cognizant, they worked as a Software Engineer at RippeTech LLC, where they contributed to enhancing product performance and scalability. Premkumar began their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions India Ltd. as an Associate in the Research & Development department, developing cutting-edge application and systems software. Premkumar also worked as a Software Engineer at California Software.

Premkumar Balasubramanian holds a PGDBA degree in Finance from Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Premkumar also has a B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have a certification in MCSD from Microsoft.
