Tevin Dixon

Tevin Dixon has a diverse work experience starting from 2008 as a Sales Associate at Rugged Wearhouse. In 2012, they worked as a Software Development Associate at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where they led a group of interns and created an Access Database and SQL scripts to maintain compliance with outside vendors. In 2013, Tevin was a Trainee at Morgan State University, where they assisted students with C programming skills and developed software development techniques in a Linux-based environment.

From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Morgan State University's Center of Excellence for Tactical and Cyber Technologies, researching intrusion detection schemes and algorithms, investigating network pattern recognition algorithms, and developing and implementing the Vita Radio Transport protocol. In 2015, they had a brief stint as a Graduate Summer Intern at The Aerospace Corporation.

From 2016 to 2018, Tevin worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they generated a bash script for file exportation, updated risk management framework profiles, and installed TEMPALT tools.

From 2018 to 2020, Tevin held the position of Senior Specialist Advisor at Deloitte Consulting, where they created templates, developed documentation, and utilized knowledge of test and evaluation in proposal work.

Currently, since 2020, Tevin is working as a Data Engineer at Hitachi Vantara Federal.

Tevin Dixon obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution, spanning from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Tevin also obtained a certification in Security Plus from CompTIA in November 2018.
