Richard Muskett

Richard Muskett is an accomplished Senior Technical Manager with extensive experience in the rail industry. Currently serving at Hitachi Rail Europe since November 2018, Richard previously held similar senior technical management roles at Virgin Trains East Coast and Siemens, where responsibilities included performance management for the E320 Velaro Eurostar. Richard's earlier experience includes significant contributions as a Maintenance Development Engineer at Southeastern Railway, where the focus was on enhancing maintenance practices through RCM and MSG-3 principles. Richard also held various engineering roles at Ashgood Fire Protection, South Eastern Trains, Siemens for the Heathrow Express, and Connex Southeastern, complemented by a solid educational foundation from a British Railways Board apprenticeship and studies at Croydon Technical College.
