Tomoko Yamashita

Tomoko Yamashita is General Manager, CEO Office and joined Hitachi, Ltd. in 1999.

Tomoko’s career has been focused on global organisation and people transformation across various business industries including Information Technology, Power Systems, Building and Rail industries, and Hitachi corporate headquarters in Japan, US, the APAC region.

She has vast experience in corporate management including strategy planning, finance, and project management, plus more than 15 years experiences in global M&A.

Most recently, she worked as Head of Strategic Projects – Mobility , where she worked directly for Executive Vice President of Hitachi, Ltd. In this position, she led its global strategy and Hitachi’s environmental initiatives.

Tomoko graduated with a bachelor degree of business administration from Hokkaido University, Japan and graduated Hitachi’s future 50 talent program in 2022.
