Jiawen Tang

Jiawen Tang's work experience includes positions at Hive Health (YC S21) as President & Co-Founder, International Monetary Fund as Co-Author and Project Lead, The World Bank as Consultant, United Nations as Strategic Planning Graduate Intern, Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program as Research Lead, Oliver Wyman as Engagement Manager, TechnoServe as Volunteer Consultant, Columbia University in the City of New York as Teaching Assistant and various work-study roles, Oliver Wyman as Summer Consultant, and New York State Department of Financial Services as Capital Markets Intern. The roles span from 2013 to the present, with experience in digital health insurance, COVID-19 analysis, strategic planning, research, consulting, teaching, and internships in the financial and development sectors.

Jiawen Tang's education history begins in 2004 when they attended The Wheeler School for their primary schooling. Jiawen completed their secondary education there and graduated in 2011. Afterward, they enrolled at Columbia University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Economics-Political Science.

Following their undergraduate studies, Jiawen Tang pursued higher education at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Master in Public Administration - International Development (MPA/ID) degree. This program focused on international development within the field of public administration.

Jiawen Tang is currently expanding their educational qualifications at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they began studying in 2021. Jiawen is expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2023, further enhancing their expertise and knowledge in the field of business.
