Mark Sutton

Mark Sutton has over 15 years of work experience in the tech industry. Mark began their career in 2005 as a Support Engineer at Adrian Flux Insurance. In 2013, they joined comparethemarket.com as a DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, building and rolling out of robust application deployment tools, building and configuring cloud infrastructure & services, and providing CI/CD infrastructure. Mark then moved up to Senior DevOps Engineer, where their role involved interacting with other teams to deploy applications in a streamlined process. In 2018, Mark joined Hive Learning as Head of Platform & Infrastructure and Senior DevOps Engineer.

Mark Sutton attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an HND in Computer and Network Engineering. Mark then returned to Sheffield Hallam University from 2000 to 2003, where they graduated with an Information Engineering and Technology Management degree. In 2015, Mark obtained an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
