Abdur Sulaiman

Abdur Sulaiman has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and digital strategies. Abdur currently holds the position of Director of IT: Digital and Platform Solutions at HNI Corporation since April 2018. Prior to that, they had served as the Director of IT: Digital strategy and Omnichannel at Crate & Barrel from January 2013 to April 2018. Abdur also had previous roles as a Senior Manager, Application Development Manager, and Application Development Lead at Crate & Barrel, where they worked on various projects related to eCommerce, POS, customer experience strategy, store systems, CRM systems, merchandising, ERP, supply chain, and distribution. Before joining Crate & Barrel, they worked as a Senior IT Business Analyst at Cargill from July 1999 to October 2000. Abdur started their career as a Senior Consultant at Whittman-Hart and later worked as a Consultant at Whittman-Hart Inc from 1996 to 1999.

Abdur Sulaiman holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Management, and Mathematics from Minnesota State University. Abdur also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the same university. Prior to attending university, they obtained their high school/secondary diplomas and certificates from Maple Leaf International from 1976 to 1990.
