Tim Hilchenbach has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Tim began their career as a Koch/Chef at Restaurant Ratshof in 2006. Tim then joined DO&CO in 2006 and took on roles such as Koch/Chef, Junior Sous Chef, and Sous Chef, where they developed menus and led teams. In 2014, they joined LSG Group as an Executive Sous Chef Culinary Excellence and later became the Senior Executive Chef Culinary Trends, responsible for menu development, customer presentations, and leading a team. Since 2020, Tim has been working at HOFMANNs, initially as the Head of Product Development and currently as the Head of Product.

Tim Hilchenbach completed their Bachelor Professional of Business degree from AKAD University from 2015 to 2018. In 2010, they obtained the IHK Ausbildereignungsprüfung AEVO / Ordinance on Aptitude of Instructors from IHK Frankfurt am Main. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, Tim completed a Chef Apprenticeship at Ebernburger Hof.
